Alright team!
Tomorrow is the last SG World Cup of the season, and I am super excited. We’re in Lenzerheide, Switzerland and the track looks like a ton of fun. It is steep, lots of terrain, a bit bumpy and a very technical course set!
I’ve learned a lot of different things about race day approach this season from all my previous starts and I’ve had some awesome training the past two weeks in Italy so I am excited to put it all together tomorrow.
The race starts at 10 am CET and I’ll be starting bib 40!
Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks.
I think it is so cool that you can find such old buildings exploring around European towns. This one is close to where our apartments are in Soraga Di Fassa solo freeski day during my little three day break after the Olympics view from our apartment of Soraga. So beautiful i took some of these camping dehydrated meals from the Team USA room at the Olympics and they are actually delicious. Would recommend was alone in the apartment for a couple days, so dinners looked like this :) this is at the bottom of the hill we train at in Pozza di Fassa. There are almost always locals that come out to watch the training which I think is very special about these small European town training hills. this gelato place has a special place in my heart. When I first made the ski team, we stayed about 1.5 miles away from here for many weeks in January every year, and a highlight of the day was always walking to get this delicious gelato. My Uncle Joe sent me this: “the trademark tongue” very very pleasant surprise to be able to see David and Jacob Flaherty (long time Canadian Holimont family friends) in Italy Post training lunch with Candace Alice, her mom and family friend ft. some amazing views having your mom at training has its perks! Alice, her mom, and serviceman Pepi view from. the bottom of the hill in Pozza di Fassa. Spring time is the best time had some pretty epic gs training with the team the last week great conditions and sunshine :) so thankful every day to be in such amazing places view from the top of Lenzerheide! training today before the hill freeski most world cups are in pretty quant little ski villages/towns but Lenzerheide is full on industrial city but we still found some beautiful trails to do our recovery on and now were ready to rip tomorrow!
If you live in Italy, I'm sure you're amped up for Milano-Cortina d'Ampezzo 2026!
